If I didn’t have to take calculus I’m pretty sure I’d be tempted to do a minor/second major in botany. I love this stuff. 

I thought I’d post since since I’ve been feeling a bit more enthusiastic lately. This is the bell tower at BYU that my Grandfather helped create. I think that this was a really beautiful picture of it. I got a strawberry shake yesterday just like he wanted us to and it was amazing! I was going through my phone and realized that I actually have a voice message from him. It made me so happy! (and maybe a bit melancholy) I’m glad that I have something close that I can drive past and remember him by. 

It’s been so long since I last updated this! I feel terrible about it. I’ve been having lots of “fun” with school. I’ve been getting pretty good grades at least! I also realized the other day that I have indeed found my perfect major. I love anthropology! I’m glad that I get to study everything I do. I even had an interesting conversation with my teacher about the ritual use of bones in Tibet and the ear spools of the Olmec. Although this all sounds great I’ll be glad when this semester is over! Taking 14 credits was a bad idea. My next task will be figuring out for sure what kind of torture to put myself through next semester! 

Yay! This week is already 3 days old and I already feel relieved. Still on my to do list:

Hopefully I will survive. In the mean time I have lots of fun things that have come in the mail! 

Has been going well! Lots of Japanese, hence me never writing anything anymore. I’ve had tons of fun lately! :) I’ve been able to spend lots of time with my family due to the fact that I don’t have school Fridays and I can go south with my Mom after she’s done. I got to watch “Despicable Me” with them and that was way fun! I also had an amazing brunchfast with H.’s family last week. It was awesome seeing everyone together! I’ve been able to do some shopping lately (take the cards away!) and got some way awesome stuff! I bought some things hoping to motivate me:

White Rabbit Press Kanji practice cards (series 2, vol 1)

Kanji notebooks/pens/highlighters and some treats from Japan

And a headset for H. FINALLY. 

So if the weather will finally let up I can get excited about opening my mailbox! I hope everyone is having fun!
